Classic Sports Car Club Dinner Dance

01/12/2017

The dust has settled on another race season and it is time to reflect on the year but also to celebrate with fellow club members at the annual Classic Sports Car Club dinner dance. This year the event was held at the Chateau Impney Hotel near Droitwich Spa.

A grade II listed, 19th century house built in the style of a French Chateau. The Chateau also hosts a hillclimb event every year so has a Motorsport flavour.

Over 250 club members and their partners and friends converged on the venue to celebrate the club’s successes over the last season.

Car Mats UK driver Andrew Windmill secured a class award in the Tin tops category which was presented by fellow Honda driver and triple BTCC championship winner Matt Neal. A fantastic and fitting end to the 2017 season.

Looking forward now to 2018 and encouraged by the success of this season, Car Mats UK will continue their support of the Honda Civic and driver Andrew Windmill into 2018. This support will enable further development of the car and hopefully elevate the car into the top 3 of the Tin Tops field on a regular basis. But the competition will not be resting on their laurels either, so expect another tough season for the team in 2018.

Here is the calendar of events and we look forward to seeing more of you at the races next year.
